Château
Laffitte Carcasset
Cru Bourgeois Supérieur
Chartreuse of the XVIII th. Century surrounded by vineyards planted in the center of the gravellous plateau of Saint Estèphe, the Château Laffitte Carcasset is producing wine since 1781 when Sir Jean Laffitte, attorney of the King of France, brought the domain and created the vineyard. In 1955, the viscount Pierre de Padirac purchased the property. Since then the vineyard has expanded and many technical improvements have been brought for a good breeding of the wine.
In 2016 of December, the de Padirac family sold the property to Mister Pierre Rousseau, a new start is begining with new ambition for the wine’s quality and notoriety.
