Carine Frugier, Director
Originally from Charente-Maritime, she first followed a course that should have led her to professional horizons far from the world of wine.
Thanks to different experiences in Châteaux, from harvests to tasting courses, with a small training at the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences of Bordeaux and several experiences in different wine estates, she is now proud to be at the service of the winegrowers of Saint-Estèphe.
Since 2009, she has overseen all the activities of the wine union and the maison du vin.
In addition, it is the privileged intermediary between the castles and all the administrations (INAO, QUALISUD ...). She takes care of everything related to the regulations, she organizes the tastings of approval ...
Whatever happens, she never leaves her smile.
Nathalie Maul-Carneiro, Reception Agent
Arrived in 2010 at the house of wine, native of Bordeaux, she is in charge of the running of the shop and the reception.
She advises you and offers tastings.
With boundless energy, she places orders and monitors stocks.
Bertrand Cavassa, seasonal reception agent
It returns every year since 2019, during the high season.
A journalist by training, he receives and advises visitors, and animates tastings.
This native of Lyon, passionate about wine, was initiated by his father, first in the Côtes du Rhône and Burgundy as well as in Beaujolais.
In addition, he manages the website.
Created by the decree-law of July 30, 1935, the concept of Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée is the result of the desire of French winegrowers to impose production specifications.
Today, the appellation wine unions have been recognized as Organismes de Défense et de Gestion (ODG).
They are in charge of the management of their appellation and its production specifications.
In 1966, the Maison du Vin was created to inform you and direct you to the entire Saint-Estèphe appellation.
It is the image of the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
The Maison du Vin created in 1966 was at the beginning of the 20th century a business, in this case a butcher shop as seen in this photo signed with the initials W.G and published by J.H BOUEY
