The Saint-Estèphe Wine House team welcomes you

Carine Frugier, Director

Originally from Charente-Maritime, she first followed a course that should have led her to professional horizons far from the world of wine.

Thanks to different experiences in Châteaux, from harvests to tasting courses, with a small training at the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences of Bordeaux and several experiences in different wine estates, she is now proud to be at the service of the winegrowers of Saint-Estèphe.
Since 2009, she has overseen all the activities of the wine union and the maison du vin.

In addition, it is the privileged intermediary between the castles and all the administrations (INAO, QUALISUD ...). She takes care of everything related to the regulations, she organizes the tastings of approval ...

Whatever happens, she never leaves her smile.

Le Syndicat Viticole de l'AOC Saint-Estèphe

Created by the decree-law of July 30, 1935, the concept of Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée is the result of the desire of French winegrowers to impose production specifications.

Today, the appellation wine unions have been recognized as Organismes de Défense et de Gestion (ODG).

They are in charge of the management of their appellation and its production specifications.

In 1966, the Maison du Vin was created to inform you and direct you to the entire Saint-Estèphe appellation.

It is the image of the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
